Saving the World

Good day everyone! I just wanted to take the time out to talk to you all about our world and the impact you can have on our planet. As many of you are probably doing right now, it is summer time and the weather is getting hot. It's a great time to go to the beach, have bar-b-q's, and hang out with friends that you haven't seen in a long time. But it is also a time where many of us do not realize that we are polluting our oceans, the beaches, and even our own backyards. Air pollution goes up drastically during the summertime because everyone is going to the beach, the lakes, etc. Beaches become polluted with garbage because no one likes to carry their own garbage around and to find a garbage can. Even recycling becomes difficult with all of the cans and bottles people dispose of. Lets make it look like it did, or how it does in some areas of the world...everywhere. I have some information that I would like to share with you all. It has to do with the air we breathe to survive. Now if you have been watching the TV show Years of Living Dangerously then you probably know about all of this information. But I am going to give you some insight to things that you may not have noticed. Here are my notes for on episode: If we tax carbon, it makes the people polluting our world pay. Use a small amount of water for electricity and it all goes back into the river. This happens in British Columbia. Elephants move if there is no water in Africa. Then they go to open areas with water where the humans are. Then this causes conflict between humans and elephants. There will be poaching. Hippos dying because of the heat. Even now they are all dying fast. In Kenya, they are studying hippos. There are less in Africa then there are supposed to be. They Help fertilize animals in the ecosystem.    This is a new tv show that is on it's second season. I haven't heard about it until this season started, but it is amazing and very informative. It will open your eyes to what we are doing with the Earth and how it is greatly effecting all parts of the world. You may not know it, but parts of the world (like the United States) will be close to many hurricanes and/or floods to the point where land will be under water.    No one would like to admit it, when it comes to the higher ups and the politicians, but we are going to suffer greatly, and the human race may all be in one area if we do not do something now to help keep our world alive.    If you haven't seen my Facebook post, it gives you an overall insight about the first 4 episodes of the tv show " Years Of Living Dangerously" . It's all about the farm animals this time! :) So not many people know this, but farm-life is not an easy thing and gaining new animals for the farm is hard if you do not know where to go. But apparently a friend of mine, Bob is still doing well with his farm. With 800 chickens, lambs, goats, roosters, birds, horses etc. they are all healthy and have a lot of room to walk around freely. Well except where they are fenced in, but it is a huge area for them. The reason why I am talking about these animals is because we need to remember that they need to stay alive on this planet too. We are all trying to take care of the others and make sure that they survive, but we also need to have these creatures live with us. I just love this picture. I know I have not spoken to you in a while about this issue, but I am still well aware and involved in helping to save the animals that live on this planet. Recently I have come across multiple articles about different species that have been discovered. There are many that we do not know of, but we are all seeing that the scientists, marine biologists, etc have searched and found without really looking for these creatures. Many discoveries are by luck or in the right place at the right time. We may not know all of the animals that are out there, but we can try our best to keep the forests and waters clean and safe for them to live. China is one of the many places that have discovered different creatures. It is hard to distinguish between the animals that people make up and the ones that are real, but all we have to do is research and see who is really posting or writing about these animals. I have found out that there is a squirrel that looks like a panda bear (as in the color)....

Hey everyone! I know that many of you know about the glaciers and polar icecaps are melting. They have been for quite some time and there is nothing (sadly) that we can do to stop it. But we can help save the animals that are living there. I have seen a video on television on the discovery channel or history channel I believe (I'm not quite sure) that tells us of new technology that is showing us how fast the ice is truly melting. It is strange to see rocks where the ice once was, to remember seeing these huge frozen solid ice mountains, and now there is only rocks and lots of water. Even the animals are trying to move away from the continuous melting ice but it is hard to find a place for so long.     It is hard to imagine that all of these creatures will be extinct or disappear from us forever, but we cannot forget about them. We need to be informed about what is really going on in our world when it comes to Nature and the weather for some of these beautiful...

Something that everyone should get behind when it comes to helping the animals!      This is an organization that helps to protect the animal that are in danger and their homes. There are new animals added every so often with different packages that you can receive depending on your donation amount. Some of these animals are:      Red Wolf      Tiger      Dolphin      Penguin      Black Bear      & more..... If you do not visit the page often, they do put little tags next to the new animals that they put up on their page. The first time that I have donated when hearing about this organization, I received a sticker in the mail. It is cool because it says "I 'heart' Wolves". This is the animal that is on their logo.
