What is happening to our Air??

I have some information that I would like to share with you all.
It has to do with the air we breathe to survive.

Now if you have been watching the TV show Years of Living Dangerously then you probably know about all of this information. But I am going to give you some insight to things that you may not have noticed.
Here are my notes for on episode:

If we tax carbon, it makes the people polluting our world pay. Use a small amount of water for electricity and it all goes back into the river. This happens in British Columbia.
Elephants move if there is no water in Africa. Then they go to open areas with water where the humans are. Then this causes conflict between humans and elephants. There will be poaching. Hippos dying because of the heat. Even now they are all dying fast.
In Kenya, they are studying hippos.
There are less in Africa then there are supposed to be. They Help fertilize animals in the ecosystem. Loss of large animals means less rodents that spread diseases. But this can cause other animals to die off too.

If you look, we can do simple things to keep the world alive and make sure that all animals live. Kenya is a big example of what is going on in a part of our world that if we don't do something soon, we will be living in a desert or nowhere at all.

This is from another episode:

Barrier islands store energy. If the water keeps rising, the islands will be gone and the energy and growth of plants are gone as well.
Ghost forest has no vegetation and will be a big hole in the middle of nowhere. That is a place where a lot of nutrients are from.
We need all republicans to know that climate change is a big deal and everything is going to die in 10-15 years. They want safe passage before they join. There are 20 people who are on the side for climate change. California has electric cars but gas stations don't want it.
Fossil fuels industry is the problem. A lot of people make money from this. We may not be in time if everyone doesn't get on the same page. Georgia is on the right track with electric cars but the republicans want to get rid of it cause of the business, they think, are losing money. Tax credit. Incentive was working but they took it away.

Now, what I don't understand is if we all convert from gasoline cars to electric cars, we will not have a problem because the oil companies will still be making money but by working in electric business, not oil business.
Barrier islands is a big issue if it becomes a big hole because that means a deeper hole in our earth and a bigger problem for us as humans. The lass land we have, the bigger reason that we will die soon.

My last set of notes, I promise:

Pollution in China is from burning coal. Beijing is bad. US is second to the big use of coal and plants. Invest in coal that is dying instead of new ideas cause that's what we are used to. China blocks that they are fine and coal is not a problem but it is. Finally concerned about the air pollution. They moved coal plants to rural areas.
Illinois is worried about the health impact of the coal mine. It causes the asthma attacks. Did marches to get them to knock it down (the plants). They want cleaner jobs. Mayor did nothing. Coal is warming the planet and causing climate change. If China doesn't change, there will be more coal plants in the country then the whole world combined. China is going to have no coal in Hong Kong by 2030 if they do it right. Use solar and wind energy. Top investor in green energy. Renewable energy will be more profitable then coal in the future. Reduce use of coal will have less deaths.

Now how hard is it to use wind turbines and solar powered energy to help save our planet. I know solar panels for your house may become expensive to install, but you know how much money will will save in the long run? And you are helping to keep our planet alive.
Wind turbines is an easy way to help keep us alive. If there are more of them, it will help us drastically.
Coal mines are outdated and we do not need them anymore. There are better ways to live then ruining the air that we breathe.

We need to think about the planet. If we don't, we won't be here to see what happens to our world. Our future children, grandchildren, animals will never know what it is like to live on a planet where there are forests, a beach, a river flowing through the mountains.
Why is it so hard to realize that our planet is dying and it is because of us???
We need to help the world. This should have all started years ago. But we can still do all of these things now before it's too late.

What have you done to help keep our planet alive and breathing?

*hugs*
