"Years of Living Dangerously"
This is a new tv show that is on it's second season. I haven't heard about it until this season started, but it is amazing and very informative. It will open your eyes to what we are doing with the Earth and how it is greatly effecting all parts of the world. You may not know it, but parts of the world (like the United States) will be close to many hurricanes and/or floods to the point where land will be under water.
No one would like to admit it, when it comes to the higher ups and the politicians, but we are going to suffer greatly, and the human race may all be in one area if we do not do something now to help keep our world alive.

If you haven't started or never heard about it, you should definetly watch #YearsOfLivingDangerously . The show is amazing and it shows just how much has drastically changed on our planet. We should listen to what our world is saying and learn to live with solar energy, wind generators, solar powered generators, etc. All of these simple tools can help keep our world from turning upside down.
In the east we will see a rise in sea levels so drastic that everyone will move and migrate to different parts of the world. The people in the west are already experiencing droughts that n one is paying attention to. Africa has already hit that point of where the degree has brought a drastic change for their lands. No water means no food. The rate that the world is going, we will have hurricanes in the east that will cause everyone to move to the center and not many people will survive.
If we don't do something now to help keep our rainforests, our farmers, our land to the way it used to be (or keep it how it is, maybe better), then our planet will become one large ocean.

If we look and see that the weather is changing, temperatures are not how they used to be in certain parts of the world, and the difference in high tide and low tide we should notice that something doesn't seem right.
The military and the governments are trying to hide the words climate change or global warming because they don't believe that it is happening. Well it is going on now and places are being effected by it. Some politicians are trying to help the places that they are in and get the message out, but not everyone wants to listen. They are not paying attention to the obvious signs that are there on our Earth that is telling us to stop using certain products.
Oil is a big problem that we always had, whether it was a war or an oil spill. We need to cut the use of oil and use energy efficient products. The sun is a major source that we can harness and power our world without hurting our planet. The solar panels that not every state wants to use (because the electrical companies will lose money) because of the simple fact of losing money. Everything is about losing money and not being rich. If it comes to the sake of our planet, money will not matter because we will not be here.
In one of the episodes, Jack Black went to Florida and he was right when he said that many of the companies and businesses want to live in the here and now and not worry about what will happen in the future. As long as they are rich now and making a lot of money, they don't care. But there are places near the ocean where people LIVE that floods certain times of the year and soon those houses will be no more.
Even when you see these big bad businesses saying that they are energy friendly or they are all for the saving of the world, they may be using one solar panel or one energy efficient thing but they continue to do what they have always done and not worry about recycling, oil, trees, etc.
The rainforests, and all of the other forests, are being cut down and those companies are just putting cows there so they have meat to sell to stores so we can eat. But they don't know that if you keep cutting down these trees, we are losing air and the world is not cooling down. Rainforests help cool off the earth, but if we keep cutting down those trees, the earth will heat up and the temperatures of the world will be out of balance.
I can go on and on about what is happening and what we should do to help keep the world alive and us safe from being flooded or barren because of the heat and droughts. If you start watching this show, I believe that you will be empowered to speak up and help the communities where you live to be educated and make this world continue to survive.
This is what I think is happening to the people in all of the governments...
Will you help them listen to what not just scientists are saying, but what the Earth is telling us?
