Farm Animals are Important too!

It's all about the farm animals this time! :)

So not many people know this, but farm-life is not an easy thing and gaining new animals for the farm is hard if you do not know where to go.
But apparently a friend of mine, Bob is still doing well with his farm. With 800 chickens, lambs, goats, roosters, birds, horses etc. they are all healthy and have a lot of room to walk around freely. Well except where they are fenced in, but it is a huge area for them.

The reason why I am talking about these animals is because we need to remember that they need to stay alive on this planet too. We are all trying to take care of the others and make sure that they survive, but we also need to have these creatures live with us.

I just love this picture. I wanted to take the shot when he was lying on the ground, but of course he got up and I snapped it just in time too. This little cat lives on the farm of course and believe me, if they are not taken care of, they will not be so nice to play with. :p

With a pond, of course you have to have these ducks. They are big birds and they did not really stay by the pond of course. Not when everyone was there taking pictures of all of the animals. They wanted in on the camera action too.

This turkey looks ready to be eaten for thanksgiving. But no, he is there to protect the other turkeys. Don't get to close when they look like that though. They will go after you and it is not an easy feat to get away from them once they are on your trail. But they are an important part of the farm.

You have to have a goat. This one is the only one that is black and white. His horns are starting to grow but are not showing yet. He is just like a dog and is very friendly. When you pet him, he moves his head so you can scratch his head more. Very cute and a great animal. Yes it is a goat but he is still very cool.

Always with a rooster. There were a few of them but I like where this one was standing, right on the rocks. The way this picture was taken is interesting to say the least. Just the spot where the rooster is standing on the edge of the rocks and the distance of where he is, you can see all of his beautiful feathers.

All of these animals, and more, are a vial part of our planet. We do not know much about the different animals on the farms and which ones are becoming extinct because there are many of them. Many different types and a whole lot of them to go around. But we still need to remember that even though these animals may not be totally in the sight of extinction, we need to still care about them too.

If there are any other animals that you would like to see or even know about without looking up too much, let me know. I am always willing to research more animals and learn about them. I love ocean life, but of course that is not the only area we need to make sure that survives.
Just send me a message at the bottom of this post or on my Facebook. Have a great Summer everyone!
