Animals of North America

  


Hey Everyone!

     I recently went to a zoo to see some animals-and to just get out of the house. 😉 There are a lot of cool ones that I did not know about, or have not seen in a very long time. But looking at some of these animals has me thinking about where they really live and where their home should be.

     There are too many people that are responsible for deforestation, and this is a big reason for why we keep some of these animals in zoo's like this so they can survive. It is for educational experience as well, but they truly belong in the wild where they belong.

     I have added some pictures that I hope you will enjoy. Some you may not know what they are, and others may pop up at you.

     I hope you enjoy the pictures and learn some things about them. Each animal has their own story and way of living. Take a moment to see the beauty of them all and know that they live here just like we do, trying to live another day.

I know I have not spoken to you in a while about this issue, but I am still well aware and involved in helping to save the animals that live on this planet. Recently I have come across multiple articles about different species that have been discovered. There are many that we do not know of, but we are all seeing that the scientists, marine biologists, etc have searched and found without really looking for these creatures. Many discoveries are by luck or in the right place at the right time. We may not know all of the animals that are out there, but we can try our best to keep the forests and waters clean and safe for them to live. What is happening to our Air??

I have some information that I would like to share with you all. It has to do with the air we breathe to survive. Now if you have been watching the TV show Years of Living Dangerously then you probably know about all of this information. But I am going to give you some insight to things that you may not have noticed. Here are my notes for on episode: If we tax carbon, it makes the people polluting our world pay. Use a small amount of water for electricity and it all goes back into the river. This happens in British Columbia. Elephants move if there is no water in Africa. Then they go to open areas with water where the humans are. Then this causes conflict between humans and elephants. There will be poaching. Hippos dying because of the heat. Even now they are all dying fast. In Kenya, they are studying hippos. There are less in Africa then there are supposed to be. They Help fertilize animals in the ecosystem. Antartica is leaving us!

Hey everyone! I know that many of you know about the glaciers and polar icecaps are melting. They have been for quite some time and there is nothing (sadly) that we can do to stop it. But we can help save the animals that are living there. I have seen a video on television on the discovery channel or history channel I believe (I'm not quite sure) that tells us of new technology that is showing us how fast the ice is truly melting. It is strange to see rocks where the ice once was, to remember seeing these huge frozen solid ice mountains, and now there is only rocks and lots of water. Even the animals are trying to move away from the continuous melting ice but it is hard to find a place for so long.     It is hard to imagine that all of these creatures will be extinct or disappear from us forever, but we cannot forget about them.
